Skidding is a contributing factor to most incidents on our roads, but this is a area of driving most drivers will never receive any training on. As drivers we have all experienced an icy or slippery road especially in the winter, but don't forget the summer, this brings it's own challenges, such as after a sudden down pour of rain after a long dry period, when any rubber and oil that has been deposited on to the road rises to the the surface leaving it very slippery. |

Using the most up to date technology supplied by the family run firm that designed the Skid Car the Cedergrens, and fitted to a modern Vauxhall Astra we can run the right type of training to give you the skills to identify and correct any type of skid. The skid control car allows us to simulate many different road, weather and driving conditions, this is replicated by the hydraulic frame attached to the underneath of the car. The myth that the frame causes the skid is untrue, its the driver that still has to cause the skid, so making it all feel real to life. |
